Dave is a Virginia native, and although he grew up in Falls Church, Roanoke and Richmond, by way of his dad’s career as a Methodist minister, he enjoyed summers in North Carolina and became fascinated with sailing in his early 20’s. From his first experience with a Sunfish he rented in Ocean City, MD that got him hooked, to the Flying Scots and J 24s, as well as the Prindle 18 catamaran, to finally owning his own boat, a CAL 35, Dave has sailed around the Chesapeake Bay for over 30 years. He and his wife currently own a Beneteau 411 and they continue to enjoy all the Bay has to offer.
Dave attended both the Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay Sailing Schools and is a member of American Sailing. He loves learning about different boat manufacturers and stays up to date on safety techniques and maintenance requirements and always looks forward to seeing the latest and greatest at the Annapolis Sailboat Show each year. As a business owner for over 20 years, Dave sold furniture to IT and tech firms, several military installations such as the Naval Academy, Aberdeen Proving Ground and NAVSEA, as well as government agencies and local businesses.
His past business experience taught him the importance of what true customer service means and the value of building relationships. Whether you are a first-time buyer navigating your way through the process or an avid boater in the market to sell and upgrade, Dave will work hard to ensure your experience is an exceptional one.

Before he joined the yacht sales industry in his home state of Maryland, Grey worked for over twenty years as a professional pilot, flying both helicopters and airplanes. One of the experiences he enjoyed most was flying a news helicopter for multiple stations here in Washington DC. Daily flights over the Potomac River and the Chesapeake fueled his interest in sailing and the boating lifestyle that so many Marylanders and DC residents enjoy.
After attaining his MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Grey spent a couple of years in the mortgage industry, an invaluable chapter in his career that shaped his approach to complex business transactions. When the opportunity to work in yacht sales presented itself, Grey knew this was his ideal career path. He has been a sailor for ten years and enjoys taking Flying Scots out on the Potomac, racing keelboats on the Chesapeake, and looks forward to cruising our local waters and beyond.
Whether you are a prospective buyer or seller, it is Grey’s mission as your trusted yacht advisor to learn about your goals and to conduct your vessel sale or search with steadfast attention to detail and effective communication.
Chris was born and raised in Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay, where he developed a deep respect for the water under his father’s guidance. He earned his U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Boater Certificate before he was old enough to drive, and maritime discipline has shaped his life ever since. From spring through fall, Chris can be found fishing, boating, crabbing, and water skiing, then transitioning into bow hunting whitetail deer as the seasons change.
He is also the proud father of three children, all graduates of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. Watching them build professional sailing careers and carry forward a shared love of the water stands among his greatest accomplishments.
Chris’s professional background began in information technology, where he rose to serve as Chief Technology Officer for Brown Advisory in Baltimore before moving into IT consulting. That career honed his ability to understand complex systems, manage risk, and deliver results, skills he now applies as a yacht broker.
He has always owned powerboats, ranging from runabouts and high‑performance Cigarettes to cabin cruisers and express yachts, and is a hands‑on, DIY boater with a seasoned eye for value. While Chris has not yet owned a sailing yacht, he has long admired the elegance and efficiency of sailing and plans to spend time in the Caribbean on a catamaran in the coming years. Chris is confident, driven, and comfortable taking the lead, all qualities that serve his clients well.
