Kufner 50 at Veteran Yacht Sales

Overview
At 14.93 meters in length and 4.75 meters in beam, the Kufner 50 is perfectly positioned among the most impressive yachts in the fifty-foot category. With sleek lines and a carefully balanced design, this model delivers exceptional comfort and performance. Built to be highly customizable, the Kufner 50 stands out for its generous interior and exterior spaces, earning its place as a true queen of the sea.

Exterior & Swim Platform
The yacht’s clean, slender profile is matched by functional features designed for pleasure, leisure, and safe navigation. The folding transom opens quickly and easily with a manual hoist system, creating a wide, inviting swim platform. Two steps lead seamlessly up to the deck, while a lifeline between the two quarters ensures safety even when the beach platform remains open underway. Teak decking is standard, covering the cockpit, deckhouse, steps, and swim platform, combining elegance with durability.

Cockpit & Deck Layout
The cockpit is smartly divided into two functional zones: twin helm stations aft and a central living/dining area. Each wheelhouse is mounted on robust angled supports with handrails and instrument panels; the port helm also integrates the engine controls. Wide passages allow quick movement forward, while skylight panels in the bimini ensure clear visibility of the sails and mast from either helm. The companionway is sheltered by a spray hood, creating dry stowage spaces to port and starboard. Lines and sails are managed with three stoppers and a self-tailing winch per side, giving efficient control over the boom vang, furling mainsail, genoa halyard, mainsheet, and reefing lines.

Interiors
Inside, the Kufner 50 is bright and inviting. Large hull and deckhouse windows, combined with overhead skylights, flood the interior with natural light. The furnishings feature light-toned laminates in White Zebrano by Italy’s Abet Laminati, highly resistant to humidity and wear, while darker flooring adds contrast. Corner moldings are crafted from natural oak, and the structural joinery uses poplar plywood for strength and durability. The starboard side of the saloon is fitted with a full-length linear sofa, while fold-down tabletops on the galley cabinet provide a flexible breakfast or dining setup.
