With 50 years of boating experience, Susan Meredith brings a deep understanding of both sail and powerboat markets to her clients. A lifelong sailor and competitive racer, she has raced dinghies and keelboats up to 77 feet, competed at the world championship level, and completed offshore deliveries. She has owned and campaigned a J/22, currently runs an Edgewater 230CC, and has extensive experience trailering, and race committee operations at the Annapolis Yacht Club. Raised by parents of âThe Greatest Generationâ, Susanâs father was a WWII Aviator who was training in Pensacola with George Bush Sr doing nighttime carrier landings on TBMâs (torpedo bombers) when the war ended. Her father was also born and raised in Annapolis and a lifelong sailor who raced in multiple distance races on the Chesapeake Bay, Race to Bermuda, and the inaugural 1971 Cape Town to Rio race on a 40â sloop, one of two race entries from Annapolis. Annually he helped friends deliver boats up and down the ICW and even completed a leg on a riverboat (The former Rebecca Forbush) from Lacrosse, WI all the way down the Mississippi then back up to Annapolis. Susan has also made a few deliveries down the ICW with periodic offshore stints, weather permitting.Â
