Chris was born and raised in Marylandâs Chesapeake Bay, where he developed a deep respect for the water under his fatherâs guidance. He earned his U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Boater Certificate before he was old enough to drive, and maritime discipline has shaped his life ever since. From spring through fall, Chris can be found fishing, boating, crabbing, and water skiing, then transitioning into bow hunting whitetail deer as the seasons change.
He is also the proud father of three children, all graduates of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. Watching them build professional sailing careers and carry forward a shared love of the water stands among his greatest accomplishments.
Chrisâs professional background began in information technology, where he rose to serve as Chief Technology Officer for Brown Advisory in Baltimore before moving into IT consulting. That career honed his ability to understand complex systems, manage risk, and deliver results, skills he now applies as a yacht broker.
He has always owned powerboats, ranging from runabouts and highâperformance Cigarettes to cabin cruisers and express yachts, and is a handsâon, DIY boater with a seasoned eye for value. While Chris has not yet owned a sailing yacht, he has long admired the elegance and efficiency of sailing and plans to spend time in the Caribbean on a catamaran in the coming years. Chris is confident, driven, and comfortable taking the lead, all qualities that serve his clients well.Â
